| Once Upon a Time a special little girl named Karlie made a wish to be a Princess for a day.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan and its generous supporters learned of her dream and, with careful planning, her wish became reality on Sunday, March 13, 2005. On this fine and sunny day Princess Karlie and her family were joined by more than 1,400 Muskegon community members who witnessed and contributed to this magical wish come true.
Each small detail from the horse-drawn Cinderella carriage and handmade gowns to the lovely flowers and hand-made gifts created a fairy tale wish in every way possible.
The wish and support from the community gave Karlie and her family much-needed hope, strength, and joy as she continues battling the daily realities of Cystic Fibrosis and helped this little girl from Muskegon realize her ultimate wish…to be the Fairest Princess in all the Land.
Grand Carriages was most honored to be a part of her special day.
